Can't log in.

Hello,
My domain host directed me to you after I sent them this email:
Hello,I’m having trouble logging into my WordPress account which you host and wonder if you can help me.
My site is functioning fine so, fortunately, it doesn’t seem like hacking is the problem. I wondered if maybe it had been frozen because I’d tried too many times over the past few days to log in. However, each time I get a new password and try and use that, the password doesn’t work. So I’m at a loss as to the cause of the problem.

My host responded with this email: ‘Upon checking this further, we were able to confirm that you did not install the WordPress Application through the hosting account you have with us. We would encourage you to contact WordPress to help you reset your admin login details.’
Just to help you with further information, my administrator set up my site and she tried to log in this morning, but was also unable to do so.

Could you please confirm the website address you are having trouble with? Is it wutheringheightsclarevalley.wordpress.com. or another site? This will help narrow things down a little.

It looks like you are using a self-hosted version of WordPress through WordPress.org instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/With that being said, there are several ways to manually reset your password; my personal preference is through phpMyAdmin, but you can decide what will work best for you:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_PasswordIf that doesn’t work, I would check out the WordPress.org support forums for further assistance. If you cannot find an answer, you can ask your own question, including what you are having trouble with and what you have tried so far.
No worries about being away for a bit. The great thing about forums is that you can come back to them as time permits :) Hopefully manually resetting your password will get you going again. Good luck!
