I opened 2 (Free) blogs years ago. I can log into one of them (thoughtsbysarit.wordpress.com), but not to the other one (Sarithovav.wordpress.com). I cannot figure out which email address it is hooked up with, as it likely was an email from the place I worked in at the time which I no longer have access to. For this reason, I also don’t have any of the three things they ask when trying to prove ownership. Any advice would be appreciated! That site is so outdated, has my training and CV on there which are really old. I’d love to either get into the site to make changes, but honestly, even if the site would be deleted I’d be fine with that! Please help me :(

    Hi there,

If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a PayPal transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.

I can e-mail the address associated with the account for you so you check and see if any of your accounts receive and email, if that would help.

We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.

However, if there’s personal information on your blog, I would be happy to set it to private for you so search engines and users can’t access it – just let me know.

Let me know if you have any other questions

    Thanks,

Hi, Thanks for responding! There is definitely some things there that are outdated, and I wouldn’t want my patients to read that (I am a psychiatrist). If you can email me and I will look through all the email accounts I have that would help. Can you tell me the domain of the email, because I can say that if it is @creighton.edu or @unmc.edu then I no longer have access to those email accounts as I was only there for residency. I’m sure there must be another way to validate my account. I’m pretty public to begin with and my picture is all over the place. Or, if you can see that both wordpress sites are actually the same person and if I can get into one, the second shouldn’t be a problem?? Anything I can do to help authenticate I will certainly try. The other question is, I don’t believe I ever paid for that – I think it was a free site I created, so I wouldn’t have a transaction number/paypal on there. But again, I did this so long ago (I think back in 2012 or 2013) that I really can’t remember.

    Hi there,

I will say that it is isn’t either .edu domains that you mention. it is a yahoo domain. If you for some reason still cannot access the email associated with the account, I can make it private so that no one can access the site.

    Thanks,
