Can’t log in or change WordPress site settings
-
I need some massive help! I accidentally changed my WordPress site settings on one of my websites and I cannot log into the site any longer.
I have two different domains from SiteGround:
http://www.kconnwanderlust.com and
http://www.kristenwandering.comWhile logged into the WP Admin of kcconwanderlust.com, I changed the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to http://www.kristenwandering.com in an attempt to merge the site designs but didn’t realize it would mess everything up.
Now, I cannot log into the admin of my kconnwanderlust site, which has ALL my blog entries I’ve written since 2016.
Please help. I just need to change my WordPress Address and Site Address back to kconnwanderlust.com
Thank you,

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host http://www.kconnwanderlust.com and http://www.kristenwandering.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at Siteground. It sounds like you made a URL change in your WordPress settings, but if you are able to set it back to the original address, you will be able to reconnect and see the content hosted with Siteground. WE use a different method for changing your site address on WordPress.com, so we can’t walk you through how to do that on your site.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ There is no need to create a site on WordPress.com before you get starUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance. I recommend contacting Siteground for further assistance since they are in the best position to help.
Thanks!
