Can't log-in to de-index old website
-
Hi there, I’m volunteering with an NGO in Fiji and trying to help with their IT support. They have a brand new website, and want to completely remove their old WordPress website from the web because it has old, inaccurate information: https://treasurehousefiji1.wordpress.com/
Donations are actually going to the old postal address listed, depriving the NGO of much needed funds.
As you might imagine, they’re not the most tech-savvy group, so they don’t know who created this old WordPress website years ago
What is the best way to de-index this WordPress website? I tried using the email listed on treasurehousefiji1.wordpress.com to log-in to their account, but it says that email is not associated with any user.
Thank you for your help!

Hi there,
Only the account that created the site, or an account that they added as an admin to the site, can take it offline. We cannot do it at a third party’s request under any circumstances.
If they’ve lost access to the account they can find our recovery options here:
As for removing it from search engine indexes, only the various search engines themselves can do that. We have no control over that.
