can’t log in to my account and blog

    I just tried to log in through Word Press, and it tells me I have no account. In fact, I’ve had an account since around November 2013. I tried to login to another friend’s WP account just to make a comment yesterday – the password (it is up-to-date) wasn’t accepted. What’s going on?

    Did you try clearing your browser cache? Or using a different browser temporarily?

    I’ve been having problems with Firefox since they made modifications a few months ago. They made more just this past week. It got worse.
    I tried opening the site on Safari – I got the same response.

    I’m planning to take both my iPhone and MacBook Pro to Apple store soon – I think they’ve both been hacked. This was by far the weirdest problem I’ve had. Other than my iPhone this morning wanting me to login in to MODEM! that was extra weird. Yeah, to Apple I go. Thanks for responding. Not sure it’s worth your time… Dana Bennett, Denver

    The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of danabeesvoice.wordpress.com.

    So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to access the danabeesvoice.wordpress.com dashboard.

    Well, I didn’t purposefully create another account. But I do believe my computer has been hacked somehow, and very recently. And maybe a while ago, too. It’s a mess. This is the only account I have. I have an old Blogspot site, but it’s been inactive since 2013. I’m going to the Apple store this week. Though I do have an IT guy who is very good – but kinda expensive. I’ll see what he can suggest for me. This really really bugs me.

    Thanks for looking into this. I have no idea how to access this “other” account.

    I understand how frustrating this can be. You are looking to get signed in to the danabeesvoice user account instead of the one you are currently using.

    Try to reset the password as a first step.
