Can’t log in to my actual account

  This is not for this account. This is for my main account which I can’t access.

  I created a WordPress account with my email a month ago but haven’t had my site go live yet. I barely started it. I have emails from WordPress confirming the account was created, log in here emails, tips and tricks for blogging, etc, so it was definitely created at the email address I use.

  It won’t let me log in with a username and password only. I went to log in and it wants me to log in with a link sent to my email. No email is coming despite multiple requests. It is not in spam/junk. The email address is correct. Any attempt to log in generates a ‘click the link in the email’ page response and I can’t log in.

  I’ve tried to lodge a recovery ticket but it’s saying the blog / blog name / username doesn’t exist and it won’t let me lodge the ticket as a result. When I try to create a new account, it says the email address is already in use.

  I had to create this WordPress account to submit to this forum to try and resolve the issue I have with my proper WordPress account.

  Really need help.

  Not sure how but it suddenly started working again. TY.
