Can't log in to my site.

  Hi there,

  I’m really hoping you can help. Due to circumstances I’ve been away from my site for many months. I’ve now come back to work on it but I am having difficulty. I’ve forgotten many of the basic things.

  This is the site in question

  When I try to log in here

  http://supersoulfrieddisco.com/wp-login.php

  It doesn’t recognise my username and password.

  But I can log in at wordpress.com using the same username and password and see all my content here…

  I’m unable to go to WP Admin because it doesnt recognise my username and password.

  Please advise.

  At a glance, it appears supersoulfrieddisco.com is a WordPress.ORG site, hosted elsewhere. To get support with that, you’ll have to go to the WordPress.ORG forums. So you must still have some WordPress.com presence but which doesn’t link to that site.

  But, I could be wrong. Someone more experienced than me will come along to verify or shoot down my theory.

  Hi writesrealgood,

  Thank you for the reply. I have no idea where to start. It is really frustrating i had all my details of my site kept in a folder which I can’t seem to fins anywhere. What makes you think it’s a WordPress.org site ?

  You’ll see what I mean if you follow this link:

  If that site was hosted here, like my writesrealgood site is, it would say it’s hosted by Automattic.

  Also, when you go to your wp-login link and hover over the WordPress logo, you’ll see it points to WordPress.org.
