Can't log in to my wordpress account.
-
Hi,
I am having a very frustrating time logging in to an account that I haven’t touched in two weeks. The reason why I am on this name is the only way to actually post this.
I have done everything I can to get in to my account. My passwords are saved by history so it is literally impossible that it is actually the wrong password. I tried several different devices that all have the same log in information with still the same error message.
I have tried logging in with all the combination of emails and passwords I can think of that I use – still nothing.
The user name I use is vaq5
The wordpress website I use is vaq5.wordpress.comI am the original owner of that blog site… which is a student blog for school. It is very important that I get access to this blog as I had an assignment that was due 40 minutes ago. Been tearing out my hair to get this to work.
Please help.

The admin login link is http://vaq5.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
The username account is not the one you are logged in under https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/vaq5Log out and clear your browser cache and cookies and then log in under the correct account https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

None of that information helped whatsoever because I cannot log in with my original user name and password in the first place. When I go to the recovery page, I don’t see an e-mail even in my spam folder.
I have also did an account recovery dispute and still no reply. Can someone really HELP me? I have seriously done anything I could possibly can to work around this frustration. Passwords, emails, history, anything you can think of– I have done.
I need a recovery e-mail and I do not see it. That is the only way going about this.

The only means of account recovery have been posted above. Only Account Recovery Staff can help you. You have already submitted an account recovery form and that means you provided the email address you can be reached at now.
So what you need to do is to wait for them to work through their backlog by responding to all those who contacted them before you did and then contact you.
Make sure you check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it, for their response.

Is there a way to go into my account and see what the email starts with? I have seen other people’s forum posts with the same problem and they gave the first three letters to the email that was registered. This could help me greatly.
And it has been a couple hours now since the first account recovery. I have sent two.
I appreciate your responses, timthieff, thank you.

That’s no longer done because it led to security issues. I would check every one of my email accounts.
And it has been a couple hours now since the first account recovery. I have sent two.
Please be aware that it days not hours to recover an account.
Contacting the Account Recovery Team more than once to recover any single site simply moves the timestamp and datestamp forward in time so it takes longer to get a response.
