Can't log into my installation of wp.org, can't activate my wp.com email

  Hi,

  I can’t access my wordpress.org admin dashboard via iPage with my email, I also can’t confirm the same email address after MANY MANY attempts with wordpress.com.

  I’ve even tried to change my email address so I can access my wordpress.org dashboard via iPage and now my IP is blocked.

  I’m at a lost now.

  Hi, you are in the wrong forum.
  This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.

  Ok. Sorry. This only started to happen when I signed up for wordpress.com with the same email address as wordpress.org. I should elaborate that I can’t validate my wordpress.com account. Each time I log in it tells me to confirm my email address and I go through the process over and over with no success.

  You actually have the potential to have three different accounts and log-in’s – they should be able to use the same email address

  1) Your blog log-in at ipage
  2) WordPress.ORG log-in for support of the WordPress.ORG software you are probably using at ipage
  3) WordPress.COM log-in (here)

  Ok so update for any future readers with a similar problem.

  If you have issues with your Gravatar account, you may have issues accessing the dashboard of your wordpress.org installation, we’ll according to my hosting support I.T specialist. It seems I am having problems with validating Gravatar thus making me unable to access my website, blog and admin dashboard.

  Yeah exactly auxclass. It seems like there is a problem, because I can’t validate my wordpress.COM log-in here. Which allows me to log-in to my wordpress.ORG installation via my hosting provider.

  I’m basically going through the email validation process over and over, without success. We’ll it seems like I’ve validated it but then when I log back in, I’m prompted to confirm my email address AGAIN!

  It’s a wordpress.COM problem, we’ve worked that out. Now just to fix it.
