can’t log into my site.

  Check if I’m using the right user name, (email visible only to moderators and staff).
  Is the password correct Bella2020!
  When I asked to change the password, the promised email did not arrive.

  Is this in reference to your self-hosted site that is connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack?

  I would make sure you follow the instructions on this dotorg support page to confirm that you have successfully requested an email change.
