Can't log into my wordpress blog

  Greetings.

  Can anyone tell me why I can’t log into my self hosted wordpress blog? I have sent several requests to reset my password and if i am successful to log in, after about 10 minutes, the log in window pops up and the new password wont work again. I find it so strange. That’s all i have done in the last 6 hours. I even got support from Hostgator and they could access my dashboard but I can not. Or is it anything to do with my computer? Or my browsers? But they are the same browsers I have been using all along – Firefox and Google chrome. I need help!!
