can’t log into other account

  Hello! I have another WordPress account I manage through the PTA. I was in it yesterday and today,I can’t get in it at ALL with the same credentials. It is: http://www.rooseveltpta.com and the username on file is roos0270 and email on file is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I need to log in and update the site ASAP for the upcoming school year. Please help!

  Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host rooseveltpta.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

Specifically we use a custom login system on WordPress.com for enhanced security, and because of this our procedures for regaining account access do not work on sites hosted with other providers.

  You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.

  Unfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through GoDaddy, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site.   You can ask GoDaddy for direct assistance in completing the steps in that article; they would be in the best position to help. After you have restored your site at GoDaddy to normal working order, you are welcome to migrate your site to our WordPress.com managed hosting by using this plugin.
