Can't log into WordPress through Bluehost having changed nameservers.

    I set up a wordpress.com account today and quickly realised that I wanted the functionalities of wordpress.org. Since I had already upgraded to premium on wordpress.com, I got a refund for everything except the domain.

    I subscribed to bluehost using the domain I had chosen with wordpress.com. Then I changed the name servers on my wordpress account to the bluehost ones. I have installed the wordpress plugin on bluehost through the mojo marketplace selecting the domain name I had chosen. Bluehost gives me an URL to access my wordpress site (http://mysite/wp-admin). When I click this it redirects to the original wordpress.com login panel and wont let me login with the new password I’ve chosen for login with Bluehost.

    I’ve cleared cookies and caches but that’s about all. Have I done something stupid or is there a way around this?

    From what I can see, your DNS settings have been entered correctly, and can be seen here: http://who.is/whois/rossstack.com

    What it likely here is that with DNS changes, it can be a few minutes or hours until it is updated on the internet.

    To explain, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain change is updated world-wide. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less).

    Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.

    If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. You may also want to try a different computer, to rule out cache:
