Can’t log on to add a post
-
Hello!
I’m having trouble adding a post to a site a collaborate on. I can log in without a problem and navigate to the posts page, but when I click ‘add post’ it takes me to another log in page where it tells me my password doesn’t match my email address. I know I’m using the right password because I can log in to wordpress in the first place. I tried just resetting the password on the second log in site, but I got this error message
‘The email could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.’My email is a work-linked gmail account, and doesn’t typically have any problems with password reset emails from other websites. Does anybody have any idea what is going on?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
but when I click ‘add post’ it takes me to another log in page where it tells me my password doesn’t match my email address.
Have you tried using your username instead of the email address? Do you have multiple WordPress.com accounts, and if so do they each have user roles on the collaboration site that you refer to?

Hi there,
Looks like you’re referring to perbites.org which is only connected to your WordPress.com account (not hosted here) via the Jetpack plugin. You probably have a different login for that site and you need to contact that site’s owner and help you reset your password.
