Can't log out in new editor

Ever since WP changed to the new editor, I can’t get the drop down menu open to log out. I have to switch back to the old dashboard before I can get it to work. Just for the record, I don’t like the new dashboard – too much scrolling needed to find what you’re looking for on just about every level. It’s obviously built for those using tablets and hand-held devices – but what about those of us who still use a computer to write? I’m bummed and I can’t log out without having to go through a circus act. :-(

Make sure you aren’t running a browser add-on like Ghostery by temporarily disabling it and add-ons like it, and by then temporarily disable private incognito browsing.
Go to https://wordpress.com/ and click your Gravatar first, then look next to your username in the left sidebar to locate the sign-out link.
