Can’t login after Firefox 3.6.6 upgrade

Anyone else having this problem? I’ve cleared the cache, history, cookies, and enabled all cookies, even third party. Fortunately, I am able to login with Chrome.

I’m not having issues logging in, but I have found that with each successive upgrade of 3.6, there have been move problems introduced (and few of the issues I’ve seen corrected). Hopefully they will get it right one of these days.

I’ve pretty much abandoned FF and gone back to using Safari full-time except when I need to use the web developer add-on.

I’m not experiencing any problems at all since the Firefox upgrade to 3.6.6. Here’s the troubleshooting link

    @gammablog
Also I clicked “member” under your username and discovered the blog at gammablog.com is NOT a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and you are posting once again to the wrong support forum. Your blog is a wordpress.ORG install being web hosted by dreamhost.com
    http://ismyblogworking.com/gammablog.com

This support forum is for WordPress.com free hosted blogs only. You need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here. This is the link http://wordpress.ORG/support

Please read this entry and then post to the correct forum for your software > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

The name of the plugin on my blog is WordPress.com Stats
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/
In order for it to work I need to login to wordpress.com

The question that I asked seems to be something that should concern wordpress.com users, using Firefox.

The wordpress.com stats plugin has to log into your account here in order to get the stats information. Typically once you log into that account the first time, from within our self-hosted blog, it will log into your account here automatically – at least it does on the several blogs I’ve set up with the .com stats plugin.

Third-party cookies have to be enabled though for it to log in automatically, and you cannot have the browser set to delete cookies when you shut down.

I just checked a couple blogs I manage in FF 3.6.6 and it works fine for me. Check your preferences again is all I can suggest.

I am frequently getting a weird javascript error on the forums here and on many other sites around the net. It seems to be something in the FF security settings that I can’t pin down.

OK, what finally worked was to delete all the cookies in the wordpress.com folder in tools/ options/ privacy/ remove individual cookies. Just doing tools/ clear recent history/ with cache and cookies checked doesn’t do the job.

    Thanks, all.

There are a lot of errors showing up regarding “skimlinks” which I think has to do with the add sharing thing WP hatched a little while ago, and it also appears there might be an issue or two with 3.6.6 as well. I’m seeing some errors I didn’t see before the latest FF upgrade.
