Can't login into other people's wordpress blogs.
-
When I go to another person’s wordpress blog, like, http://theness.com/neurologicablog/, and try to logon in order to leave a comment, my wordpress.com credentials don’t work, although I am able to logon to wordpress.com itself. When I try to recover my credentials from one of these sites, my wordpress.com user name isn’t accepted, although the email I use for wordprss.com is, but the confirmation email never arrives, even after an hour or so.

Thanks, but it does ask for a wordpress login here:

There are two kinds of WordPress. That one is a WordPress.ORG software install and they require a WordPress.ORG login. We cannot help you with this here at WordPress.COM. We provide support here only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and no others and that site is not among them.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Thanks again. The problem was that I use gmail through Outlook, and when I went to the web version of gmail, there were all of the confirmation emails in the web version of my spam folder, so they weren’t downloading to my computer. Duh!
