Can’t login – login loop

My username and password is correct, I’ve double-checked. I have the receipt of the purchase of my domain. When I put in my login details, I go to a jetpack login page, press sign in and am returned to the first login page where it says there is no account associated with my login details. I have reset my password and tried again. Please help

The WordPress.com account you used to create this forum thread is two days old, and has never owned any sites or bought any domains from us.

I have a receipt sent from wordpress.com saying I successfully purchased the domain but there’s no way to post a screengrab of that here.

That domain belongs to a different username than the one you used to create this forum thread.
Log out of this account, and log into the other account you used to buy that domain, and you’ll have access to the other site.
If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access. You can use the transaction ID appearing on that receipt to verify your ownership of the other account.
Please do not post that transaction ID here, as this is a public forum and we cannot help with account verification and access here. I’ve removed the receipt ID from your previous reply as well.

On the account recovery, I provide the transaction ID and my email address, (email visible only to moderators and staff). If this forum blocks you from reading that email address, it is [redacted by staff] which exists with gmail as part of the package I purchased with wordpress to have an email address belonging to my website. It says the email address is the same as my account and that I should instead go to the password reset form. Seeing as it disallows me from submitting the account recovery form with my transaction ID, I have to go to the password reset form. I reset it. I login. I’m taken to wordpress.com/me/account where I’m told I don’t have any wordpress sites yet and am taken to where I can choose a domain.
