Can't Login to a new blog and can't delete or change settings to old ones
-
Hi guys. I’m having a bit of trouble with a few things, so I’ll list them.
1) I have had an account with WordPress for a while now. Recently, I was added as an admin for a work account. The problem is that even though I have been added, it doesn’t show up in my blogs, and I can’t log in to that account directly.
2) I’ve tried multiple times to delete/ change the settings for some of my old blogs. So far I only got a confirmation email for one of them, and even after I clicked it, the blog still shows up when I log into my account.
What can I do to make this situation a little better?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Was there a confirmation email sent initially? And did you click the link to confirm the administrator status?

re: 1
Exactly which blog were you added to please? Post the URL starting with http:// here. How many username accounts do you have, and which one received the invitation to join that blog?
Did you follow through and accept the invitation?
They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.
Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that the invitation was sent to in order to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then

What are the URLs of these old blogs?
What is the URL of the blog you refer to as still appearing?BOTTOM LINE:
This is all going to boil down to how many username accounts you have and exactly which one registered which blog. There is only one means of account recovery so please read on.You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thanks for the responses!
1) I was added to the blog http://news.guernicaeditions.com/
I only have one username account, and it’s the same for both accounts. So far I haven’t received an invitation to join the blog. I can look again, since maybe I just missed it and haven’t officially accepted the invite.
I had a look at the global blog link you posted and it still shows the blog I deleted (and confirmed that I deleted), along with a few other blogs that I also tried to delete and haven’t heard back about as of yet. The work blog does not show up in that list.

Sorry, I thought there were more. I tried to change the privacy settings on the other ones and that didn’t pan out.

http://news.guernicaeditions.com/ is NOT hosted by WordPress.com and we cannot help you with it here at all. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
