Can't Login to dashboard
-
Hi,
A friend of mine has asked me to look after her website for her. She has given me the user name and password, but every time I try to login, I just get a page with the message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”. It doesn’t let me go any further and I’m unsure where to go with this. Does anyone know how I can log in and make changes?
Thanks.

I’m guessing this may be because you are already logged into your own account. Try logging out of your account, and then going to the site to log in. To get to the dashboard of the site you should go to http://whateverthesiteiscalled.wordpress.com/wp-admin

If that is the case then I can’t seem to log out; there’s no option to do so.
Here’s the web address:
http://www.businessbooster.org.ukWhilst logged into my personal account it doesn’t give me the option of logging out, and unfortunately I’ve only got the login details for the /wp-admin part of the site (when I tried just logging into the WordPress.com site with the email and password for the /wp-admin, it tells me they’re invalid).
The plot thickens….
Any help would be massively appreciated.

http://www.businessbooster.org.uk/ is is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and we do not provide support for WordPress.org installs here. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
