Can’t login to my website’s dashboard!

    So as you may be able to tell, I don’t have a wealth of experience with WordPress. However I’m trying to log into the dashboard for my website that I built using wordpress, and the email address/username and passwords that I’ve tried have all failed. I have also tried the ‘forgot your password’ approach, and still nothing!

    This is really worrying as I urgently need to log into my portfolio website and make a lot of updates to it, and generally be able to use it again as of right now I have absolutely no control over it. It is still live and running however, but I can only view it and not access it internally. Is there any way I can get in touch with WordPress for them to help me resolve this? Or is there any advice any of you guys can give me to help me with this too? Apologies for the long message but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    You did not mention, but you are referring to enyinnaezebuiro.wordpress.com yes? I do not see any other sites under your WordPress.com account if I check here: https://wordpress.com/sites/

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are you using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    So my website URL that I’m trying to access is http://www.enyinna.com
    The site might have been created with a different login but I’m not certain, I wouldn’t know what other email or username I would have used if that were the case. I did try another email address, and a couple other usernames and still nothing.
    I am using the GoDaddy provider, does this mean I should get in touch with them instead?

    Since your site is not hosted with us, you’ll want to read the Codex article “Resetting Your Password” to learn how to reset your password:

    And if you’ll still need more help with that you cen either try contacting GoDaddy directly or post to the community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
