Can’t login to my WordPress admin

  Have a website. Had it for quite awhile. The site is up and showing properly but I can’t log in to my admin dashboard. When I put in my user name then type in my password and then the 2+5 or whatever numbers they show and push enter it doesn’t open up and the password disappears.
