can’t login to old site

    forgotten login info, user name and email used have a site knitnscribble.net

    Hi there,

    It looks like you have two accounts: the spwatterson account you’re using to post here, and another account with the username, sharonwatterson. Your site belongs to the other account.

    Log out of this account first, then go to the lost password form at https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and use the sharonwatterson username to request a password reset. Then you should receive a password reset link at the email address you use for the other account, which will allow you to log back in.

    I see you had a live chat with us in March 2017 where you also had trouble due to being logged into the wrong account. At that time you asked to completely delete this spwatterson account, but that was not yet possible then.

    It is possible now, so once you’re sure you can access the other account, you can log back into this account and close it from the account settings page at https://wordpress.com/me/account/

    That way you’ll only have the sharonwatterson account, and won’t accidentally log into the wrong account again in future :)
