Can’t login to Word Press admin.

    Hi! I have just started using Word Press. When I try to go to my site with the ‘yourdomain.com/wp-admin’ URL, I can’t log in. I thought I had set up a username and password earlier (clearly since I was able to log in to wordpress.com). Even when I try the forgot password option, it says there is no account existing with my email.

    Hi there!

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

    You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:

    That said, if your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, you won’t be able to access it with the credentials to your WordPress.com account.
