Can't login to WordPress admin

When I attempt to log in to my WordPress admin there are error messages – sometimes it’s ‘invalid username’, sometimes it says cookies aren’t enabled (they are). I have cleared the cache and cookies and tried a different browser. I was locked out by the Jetpack plugin after too many failed attempts, so I disabled it. I would disable the other plugins to see if that’s the issue, but… When I log in to WordPress it now says ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.’ so I can’t even access plugins.
After hours of research this seems to be a known issue with WordPress. This and the fact that WordPress don’t have their own support team leaves a bad taste in my mouth. /rant
So are there any other solutions that will work for my site?

Sorry to hear you are having these issues. It sounds like you have a WordPress install outside of WordPress.com. Please keep in mind that this support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. Your question is specifically for a self-hosted installation of WordPress. You will need to seek help in the appropriate WordPress.org forum.
