Can’t login to wordpress.com hosted site from code

    Hi,

    We have a custom wordpress plugin, which works just fine outside wordpress.com (or wpcomstaging) infrastructure. However when our client added it to his instance on wordpress.com, it seem it refuses any attempts to login to it from code (using wp_signon function). it just returns ‘incorrect_password’ (I’m sure the password is correct, i have grabbed what was received by the script and pasted it into anonymous windows in the browser with success). Is there any way how to fix this?

    The plugin in question is downloadable from https://yourecruit.com/resources_public/wordpress_job_manager_api.php (it requires for one of the supported Job Management plugins, eg. WP Job Manager)

    Would it be an issue with the wordpress.com itself or is that likely an issue with some of the plugins installed? (some of them are not accessible on the sftp, so they cannot be checked)
