Can’t Login to WordPress Site

We need to delete our site ppadvocates.org, but can’t log in to get to the admin panel to do so. It says our screenname and password are incorrect. When we try to recover the password, it takes us to http://www.ppadvocates.org/lost-password and shows us a 404 error. I tried FileZilla to access the wp-plugins but it’s not connecting to the site. It gives us this error message:
Response: 331 User admin OK. Password required
Command: PASS *******
Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to serverWhat else can we try to delete the site? Could someone at WordPress do it for us? Any and all help would be appreciated.

It’s a common mistake, but your support request is posted in the wrong forum. This forum intended for websites hosted with WordPress.com. Your website is using WordPress.org, which allows for other hosting alternatives.

https://wordpress.org/support/But your web hosting company will be the best resource for resolving FTP connection trouble. (I can see that ppadvocates.org is hosted with Bluehost.com.) Most web hosting cpanels offer a File Manager type of application that could be another resource for deleting the site files. If you are not familiar with this, then Bluehost support is also the best resource for guidance on that possibility.
