Can't login with 2-step verification on my Android app

  Hi,

  I recently replaced my device because it broke. I have reinstalled the Google Authentication app, and WP app. I’ve logged into my account and followed the steps for setting 2-step verification, scan the barcode again, etc.

  When I try to log into the app, I enter my username and password, and it keeps telling me “We can’t log you in – This account has two step authentication… Visit security settings”.

  I’ve tried a few times, but it doesn’t give me the option to enter any password or code, just keeps telling me I can’t log in. What am I doing wrong?

  I’ve tried to find the answer here, but I can’t find the specific situation, so I’m lost.

  Note I can access my blog (www.shutterandink.com) and account from a computer, it’s just linking the app that’s giving me error!

  No worries, I figured it out…

  It should be made clear that the password to enter when logging in is the “application specific one”, not your default password. Since it’s a 2-step, I thought I had to enter my password, and AFTER would be prompted to enter the specific one.
