Can't make first blog post public

I initially made my blog private and then invited my friends to follow it. Most of them couldn’t figure out how to get into it, so I changed it to public. But apparently only the “about” item displays, and the first actual blog post does not. What do I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to Confirm your account via email before the post will show up.

Do you mean I need to confirm my account, or my readers need to confirm theirs? I have had an account for years. I was under the impression that the readers didn’t have to have accounts if the blog is public. The problem is that they can see the About page but not the first blog post.

You need to Confirm your account.

What does it say on the Dashboard Posts page? How many blog posts? Put the Recent Posts widget in the sidebar and then I can see them.

The individual posts themselves are not set to Private are they? If they are, only you can see them.

The account only needs to be confirmed once – it looks like you have two blogs – one with published posts in it – that makes me think your account was confirmed 5 years ago or so

I think I finally figured it out by going to the dashboard on my laptop (as opposed to my iPad, where not everything looks the same). I found that the first individual post was still marked “private.” I unchecked that box, and it is now published. Thanks to both of you for your help.
