Can't make image larger than 595px in Manifest theme?

  I have a blog post where I’m trying to display an image that I want to be larger than 595px wide. (That is the default width.) I’ve tried altering the HTML to the following:

  <a href="image.jpg"><img src="image.jpg" alt="George-Lucas-Letter-4-4-13" width="650" height="841" class="aligncenter" style="position:relative;left:-25px;" /></a>

  …and while this works when I Preview my post, when I publish it, it still shows at 595px wide.

  I’ve tried looking in the Manifest CSS, but I don’t see why there would be a problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
