Can't manipulate/clear out widgets

  I’m using the Sela theme and trying to remove the Leave a Reply and the third floor widgets from my Front Page, but they won’t go anywhere. I’ve tried to clear out/remove all of the widgets from the page using the menu bar and they still won’t go.
