Cant Migrate my blog

  I tried to move to hosted wordpress on bluehost. after exporting my wordpress.com and importing the xml file into bluehost wordpress, I don’t get all my posts and media attached! tried more than 20 times. bluehost support says it may be an export issue.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  did you make sure to really select all of your contents to be exported?
  Did you make sure that the new bluehost plan has enough storage for all of your attachments?

  Hi flashbash,

  Thanks for your quick reply. I did as explained in the link. like other times after submitting the xml file what I get is a blank page at this address

  MYDOMAIN/wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress&step=2

  do you have any idea what is happening?

  so it imported 11 out of 41 posts, and no error, no log, no message!

  Hi there,

  in order to make sure it is an export rather than an import issue I would suggest you create a dummy blog on a free plan on wordpress.com and try to import the xml there. If it imports everything correctly, the issue likely lies with your bluehost plan or setup.
  If this is not the case and it really is an export issue I’d love for some of the staff to have a look at it.
