Can't move domain name from old Google Sites page to WordPress.
-
I want to move my domain (slowmoneyaustin.org) from my old Google Sites page to my new WordPress site. I have followed the instructions for assigning my domain to WordPress – changed the Name Servers on the GoDaddy Admin page and added slowmoneyaustin.org to the Domains page in WordPress – but for some reason Google Sites won’t let it go. I even deleted the domain from the Google Sites Admin area.
I’m sure that it’s something very simple that I’m just skipping over, but I sure could use some help. Are there ever any issues with folks moving their domain name from Google to WordPress?
Thanks,

I am seeing http://slowmoneyaustin.org/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.
It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
Also, do let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
