Can't Open Closed Comments on Latest Post

I just made a post yesterday and have since noticed that the comments are closed on it. My blog settings are set at allowing people to post comments on new articles–in fact all my settings are as they have always been for well over a year. Older posts seem to be ok – still allowing comments. On the latest post in question, I cannot see any button to enable/disable comments on it. I have had a lot of interest in this recent post and so this is an inconvenience to those who would like to comment on it. I hope you can assist me in fixing this. Best regards, Diane Denton

The comments ‘leave comment’ link is there for me, and so is the comment box. I’d think this is one of two things.
Click on edit post then when you’re in the editor, have a look at the top of the screen , click on ‘screen options’ and see if the comment module is there. If it is, check it and it should appear.
If that doesn’t fix it for you, then it’ll be a browser issue. Clear you cache, log back in. If that fixes it, fine. If not, you may need to either update your browser or use a different one. If you’re using Firefox you might need to disable some or all of its add ons or plugins, then re-enable them one at a time to see which if any is the culprit.

Please ignore my question, as I have figured it out. I had to go to the settings on the post to show the discussion buttons and turn comments on.
