Can't open edit program

  can’t open edit. I am logged on, when I click on edit tab, a white page with blue header and the word press logo is all that appears. First issue in 3 yrs, great job !

  This is usually caused by an issue with your browser rather than WordPress.com. Are you using the latest version of your browser? Could you perhaps try accessing your site via a different browser?

  I have an ancient I-pad, I cleared the cache, it states that my browser is up to date. I have with no other site but WordPress. No other browser to check at this moment.

  Hello justjennifer, thanks for jumping in, My site is not a free site, I don’t know if paying is an upgrade, I can’t go the site you suggested, I get a white screen there also. I have no trouble accessing my site. I just can’t edit it.

  when Cleared the cache, I did get logged off, I had to log back in, now I can’t log off again.

  Is your iOS up to date? Are you using the Safari browser? As @themagicrobot suggested, try using or installing a different browser, such as Firefox, and see if that helps.

  Thanks JJ, I just logged on with my cellphone and can edit. Listen, I am so low tech sometimes I can’t even spell it. I do feel better knowing I can edit, somewhere I just can’t understand why I can’t on the i-pad. Thanks for the help !

  You’re welcome and I completely understand, but if the issue continues on your iPad, I’d still suggest updating to the latest iOS and browser. If you can’t update your iPad to the latest iOS, then try a different browser from the Apple store. Safari has been know to cause issues for some.

  Alternatively, you could try the WP App for iOS at apps.wordpress.com
