Can’t open my website

    I moved to Bluehost in 2016, and my website is not working now!
    I am not sure if I should renew it from here or from Blue host.
    I need help asap! I wish I didn’t lose everything.

    Hi tahani88,

    Is the site you are referring to using the domain, tahanialhajri.com?

    This domain was registered through WordPress.com but expired on 29th April 2018. It is also pointing to GoDaddy so it would be great if you could confirm the exact domain you need help with.

    I thought my 3 years payment with Bluehost is including the domain, I didn’t know that I still have it from WordPress. All my work is there, it’s my official website.

    Thanks for confirming, tahanialhajri.com expired on 29th April 2018 and is currently in the redemption period:

    Domain Expiration

    If we act quickly, we can still try to recover tahanialhajri.com but there will be an $80 redemption fee to pay in addition to the $18 domain cost. I’ve sent a payment request to the email address on your Account Settings page so you can pay the fee there — please let me know if that doesn’t come through.

    The domain expiring won’t delete the content from your site, it just it means it won’t be available at tahanialhajri.com during that time. If we can recover the domain, that site should load as it did before.

    We could probably set something up for you, but really so long as your email address at https://wordpress.com/me/account is correct, we will send notifications about renewal about 90 days out. And as long as the card on file works, we can auto renew it for you.

    The trouble with renewing for multiple years now is that later on, it’s even easier to forget about renewing, or even lose access to your email address and what not.
