Can't open my website. I get this message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpecte

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’, expecting :: (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM) in /home4/pamelaann/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/functions.php on line 69

    This message is what I get when I try to open my website. Because I can’t get in (nor can I as the administrator) I get figure out any way to proceed.

    These forums are for support to sites created on WordPress.com. I can see your site is self-hosted with an external provider.

    In order to resolve the issue please login your site through FTP and remove/rename this plugin mailchimp-for-wp plugin from the plugin directory and retest.
