Cant open with free account

    I’m making a website for a class and I thought there was a free version of this site. It wouldnt give me the option and now it keeps trying to charge me 48 dollars.. I haven’t done anything to my site yet, is there any way I can select the free version of the site anywhere?

    Do you mean you have already created a site and now need to launch it? If so click on “skip purchase” next to your free address.

    Hi there,

    Is this for summertimeadventuresdotcom.wordpress.com? It looks like you’ve added a domain upgrade and a plan to the cart for that site.

    Go to https://wordpress.com/plans/summertimeadventuresdotcom.wordpress.com and click on the cart icon top-right. Delete those items from the cart.

    If you then go to launch the site, if you click Skip Purchase on the domains step, you’ll have the option for to continue on the free plan.

    If you want to add a custom domain to your site, you will be required to buy a paid plan as well.
