Can`t override Jetpack Comments CSS
-
I would like to override the default JP Comments CSS and was realy happy when I read it`s now possible.
Unfortunately I can not make it work. I put the modified CSS into the WP Dahboard`s CSS box and then it makes no effect on my commen box. I use the correct classes as the modifications do change the layout through Firebug.
Thanks for the answer in advance.
Ps.: my blog is self-hosted.

Hi,
What CSS selector and property are you trying to edit? I’ll be happy to test this on my self–hosted blog with the Twenty Eleven theme.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your reply.
So lets say I’d like to change the color of the ‘Leave a reply’ text, just above the JP Comment Box.
So if I change the properties through Firebug like:#respond h3 {
color: #CF0;
margin-top: 0;
}…that gives this weird color to the text.
But when I put the same line into my Dashboard or even into my themes style.css file…nothing changes.
I am using the Dark Theme of the JP Comment.Thanks again.

I just checked with our Jetpack developers and there currently isn’t a way to edit the CSS for the Jetpack comment form at this time.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
