Can't pick a deleted username

  There is a username i would like to use for my blog. But when I go to the page to create the username and to select a free domain (example.wordpress.com). It says that it’s already in use.

  When I go to that URL that is in ‘use’ (the example.wordpress.com). It says that that website is no longer available. Why can’t i choose that username if it’s no longer available?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
