Can't Post

    I apologize, if this has already been posted. But I am having some serious problems with my wordpress.com account. I can’t post at all. I can write the post all out, add images and everything, click post and it just says “posting” forever, and never actually posts anything. And when I go to see if it saved in drafts, it didn’t and I completely lost my content. I’ve been trying to fix this for weeks! Please, any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Hi there. Do you use the post editor at the New Post button in the Reader, here: https://wordpress.com/post/ ? Sometimes with that editor it happens that drafts don’t save and/or publish properly. Try using the post editor in the dashboard at Posts ->Add New and see if that works.

    Clearing your browser cache and cookies might also help if certain features aren’t working properly: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    An additional safeguard against losing content is to write your post offline in a word processor or text editor, or an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer, and then copy it into the post editor on your dashboard.

    If neither of the post editors work and clearing your cache doesn’t help, please let us know.
