can't post blogs to Facebook
-
I can’t post my website to Facebook because they’re saying that it’s malicious and spammy.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I checked your site with Sucuri and it looks like it’s been blocked by SiteAdvisor (McAfee):
http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/monicaguidry.com/
This can happen if you’ve accidentally linked to a spammy site, or have an image that’s linked to a spammy site. You can check with SiteAdvisor for more info:
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/monicaguidry.comI don’t see an obvious reason, and the McAfee report doesn’t provide any details. When did you first notice this happening?

You will need to reach out to SiteAdvisor and possibly Facebook about this. Since you registered your domain about a month ago, I’m wondering if maybe the domain was previously used for something spammy when someone else owned it before you.
There’s information on how to contact SiteAdvisor (McAfee) about this here:
https://community.mcafee.com/message/312497You can also click the “let us know” link here and fill out the form for Facebook:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fmonicaguidry.com%2FI’m asking our developers if there’s anything we can do on our end, and I’ll keep you posted. I’m sorry this happened!

I’ve reached out to McAfee and saw the sites that were previously attached to mine. it is showing that it’s high risk. Is there a way to disassociate my site from the former? I also have been reaching out to Facebook, but I haven’t received any feed back. I’ve been in contact with them for about a month…no reply(I tried again today)

Can you let McAfee know that the domain has since been released and registered by a new owner who isn’t associated with the sites it was previously used for?

I have notified McAfee and facebook no one is responding to me. Is it possible for me to be given a new domain under monicacguidry.com instead of monicaguidry.com. is there a way to do this without having to rebuild what I’ve already created? Please tell me this is possible. Ive been unable to engage my audience as consistent as I like. Im sorry to be so bothersome. Hopefully my request is possible

Hi there,
It’s not possible to change a domain, although you can always register a new one and set the new one to primary, so the old redirects to the new:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/#instructions-for-registering-a-new-domain-for-your-blogAnd then we can cancel the old if you want. I’d hang onto it, though, since it’s your actual name.
I also submitted a report to Facebook. For what it’s worth, I note that when I check your domain in Sucuri now, it’s clear, so it seems McAfee removed you from their blacklist.

meaning I’ve already paid for monicaguidry.com that I’m not able to use. I just noticed that they are asking for an additional 18.00 to add the additional one.

Hi Monica,
We can only provide refunds on domain registrations for the first 48 hours after registration, and yours was registered in December. At any rate, I don’t think you should cancel it just because Facebook is blocking it erroneously; rather, I encourage you to wait a bit and see if they respond to your complaint.

Instagram which I havent used for sometime. But it seems as though they have also blocked my website. When I try to post they say I have a link monicaguidry.com that is dangerous.
I use facebook as a marketing platform. I couldn’t have known I was going to have these problems after 48hrs. I dont know what else to do. I cant route my facebook audience to my website. Now instagram isn’t working. facebook hasnt responded…and doesnt appear as they will. Do you have ANY other opitions for me?Thank you

Hi Monica,
I completely understand how frustrated you are. I would be, too. Our users do typically hear back from Facebook about this, and I’m thinking maybe you haven’t yet because this was over a weekend. If you don’t hear back from them by the end of today, can you please let me know?
Meanwhile, I’ve given you $18 of credit for a new domain, if you’d like to register one (such as monicaguidry.org or monicaguidry.net). Your old domain will still redirect to the new one, so you still own it and you can set it back to primary when this issue is resolved.
You can register an additional domain in this way (the credits will be used automatically at checkout):
