Can't post comments to blogs I follow.

  Since yesterday, 7/9/14 I can’t post comments to blogs I’ve followed for years. I also seem unable to ask this question via the support forums. Please help?

  Hi

  When you write a reply and hit the submit button, does the comment appear to send as normal? If it looks like it should be working, it’s possible the blog owner has your comment pending moderation, or has chosen to not publish your comment.

  If you would link me to specific posts that you’re trying to reply to, I can double-check and see if anything looks wrong. Thanks.

  They def aren’t posting.
  I just left a comment on two blogs. As soon as i hit comment it bounces back to the top of the post I was reading.

  Was hoping this might be fixed but alas it isn’t. I just left another comment that didn’t show up:

  I also checked my dashboard section “comments I’ve made” and nothing appears after july 9 when this all started.

  I’m sorry you’re still having trouble with this. It’s possible that your comments are being accidentally marked as spam by Akismet (our anti-spam engine). Our Akismet support team can help you out with that.

  Please use the contact form on this page to get in touch with the Akismet team: http://akismet.com/contact/

  You can type something like “comments” in the search bar on that page, and in the contact form that appears you can choose the option that says, “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake.”
