Can’t print a page that looks like the screen?
-
I am a new user with WordPress. After making some changes to my home page I tried to print it. But the page came out of the printer separated into two parts — the header and left column on one page, and the main blog column on a different page.
Is there a way to print a page appear as it looks on the screen?

Can we get a link to your blog, starting with http? We generally need that before we can give an appropriate answer.

Mac OS-X.
And even if you tell me the magic keystoke for printscreen,
that’s not really a fix is it. -
It has nothing to do with the CSS being broken, or wordpress being broken or anything like that.
The problem is a browser issue. It used to be that browsers would print things just as they were – or at least gave you the option to print it just as it was, but now they don’t. And all browsers are now this way, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera, you name it and they all do it – or in this case don’t do it.

The web has gotten more complicated.
Sites can deliver different CSS for Webpage, Print & Handheld.
Some sites use it as a feature.
Some sites don’t print well.It is not a browser issue.

Is this topic closed? I, too, would be interested in knowing how to print the pages of my blog. I would also be interested in knowing how to download them.

Try the freeware application Paparazzi (available via the usual sources such as MacUpdate.com). Enter the URL of the page you want an image of. One Paparazzi has loaded the page you can print or save the image.
