Can't process payment
-
Our account keeps failing when trying to renew/upgrade. We have tried 3 different cards. What can we do to get this to work.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @kkauth,
Be sure that you are logged in as the Admin under the exact same username account that registered the site and initially purchased the upgrade.
Renewing usually happens automatically unless set otherwise. You can try to update the credit card details and then go through the renew process following the steps at this document:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/
If you are still having trouble after this add the modlook tag to this thread and it will notify a staff member to take a look to help out.
Let me know if it works out! :)

We were subscribed to Premium ($99 USD), and I got the “it will autorenew in 5 days” email back in May, but for some reason it didn’t process.
I am trying to upgrade back to Premium, but it keeps failing. Tried 3 cards, and 2 different users (99% sure I was the one to originally add/process the card).

I also note that she asked this question: Can you let me know what site you need help with? You failed to answer it. Post the URL please to expedite this.

Companies, organizations and groups of any kind do not own sites or the upgrades. Sites have sole owners.
re: renewing upgrades
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, renew or cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Managing Domains https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#managing-domains
If you are not logged in under the correct username account clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login under the correct username account.
If you do not have the required access you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it and have them transfer the sites to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
The owner of the site can transfer the site (and/or upgrades) to another account by adding another username account as an Admin. https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator
Change Credit Card Details

It is the site listed in my initial post.
However, I just tried reprocessing again now (didn’t even re-enter the card, just clicked to try it again), and it worked. So, I guess this can be closed now.

This is a free site being free hosted http://mlnewslinc.wordpress.com/ so there is nothing to renew.
-
It is already processed, however, just so you are clear:
This site has been Premium ($99 USD) since 2015. For some reason, the auto-renew failed in May 2017, so it reverted to Free. I have been trying to “upgrade” back to premium. There was 100% something to renew.

WordPress.COM is the top level domain here. All sites with upgrades to custom domain URLs are on .wordpress.com underlying sub domain URLs.
Staff asked for the domain URL.
-
Yes. “mlnewslinc.wordpress.com” is the domain URL, which is in the initial post. There is no other domain URL to give…
-
-
Which is the ONLY URL to connect to that site. There was absolutely no other information to give about the site other than that URL. She asked “what site do you need help with”, which was already posted.
About 5 minutes ago, I mapped it to our personal domain, but has no bearing on this discussion.
Anywho, the renewal payment went through today, so this is a moot point.

I mapped it to our personal domain … the renewal payment went through today
Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks for your patience here. You didn’t have any recently active upgrades so I thought you might be referring to another site, but I can see you were able to buy a plan now. Let us know if you need more help!
