Can't publish immediately

  I’m having trouble with posting. It never seems to let me publish immediately, no matter how I try and update. I press update, or publish and it schedules my post again, but doesn’t publish it. I’m very frustrated.

  1. Confirm your timezone setting.

  The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

  If you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog this is what you see here

  General Settings
  Site Title __________
  Tagline __________

  Timezone

  Choose a city in the same timezone as you.
  “save changes”

  2. Check the date and timestamp on posts
  For editing them see:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/

  Use the images you see here to help you http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/ edit the datestamp and timestamp if required and then click update.

  timethief–thanks for helping. It’s the blog I’m referring to https://edplaysite03.wordpress.com/

  There’s nothing found because I can’t figure out how to get anything to publish. “Publish immediately” has a schedule time in the future.

  How can I change that to actually publish now.

  I’ve also not be able to save changes I’ve attempted on the pre-existing “About” page.

  !!! finally got an email to “verify email” and that’s done it. I can publish.

  I had given up on that email because it took so long to come I thought it had failed.
