Can’t publish when the publish botton is clicked

The new editor is alittle tedious but with the classic block I was able to write my blog. However, when I went to double click ‘publish’, a salmon red message said this to me:
Publishing failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.
Unfortunately, they dont give you directions why things went wrong. I have published over 300 blogs the old way, now this new format seems a little tedious…. BUT I NEED TO PUBLISH. Can anybody help me?

Hello again, the general consensus to overcome this error is logging out of WPcom and clearing your browser cache and cookies (which will also log you out of any other site you’re logged into) and then logging back in.
Let us know how that goes and post back here if you need further help with this.

So I cleared the browser cache and cookies from google chrome for the last 4 weeks. I re booted the computer.
Still get the same message:
Publishing failed. Sorry, you arent allowed to edit this post.
Very FRUSTRATING. Suggestions?

Can you tell me what browser, including version number, you’re using? Do you have any browser add-ons installed, and does it make a difference if you disable those?
Does it work if you log in using a different browser or an incognito window?
And I assume you’re editing via My Sites, correct? Does the same thing happen if you use the block editor from within WP-Admin?
I cleared the browser cache and cookies from google chrome for the last 4 weeks
Instead try deleting all
wordPress.comandwp.comcookies for all time. -
