Can’t publish/change page status
-
I just opened up this blog today, though I have had a few others with WordPress, and I am having a recurring problem that I’ve never experienced before. It has happened with a post AND a page.
I created all the posts and pages I needed and published them all. When I checked the site everything showed up fine. I saw a few things I wanted to change on a post so I went in to edit it. All of a sudden the page wasn’t showing up. I checked the status and it said “scheduled.” I figured maybe I selected it on accident or something so I changed it to “published.” Update page, refresh site- still nothing. I check the status again- it’s back to scheduled, and this time there is no option for published. It just has “scheduled, draft, pending review.” I deleted the post and recreated it and things were fine again.
Same thing happened later on when I went in to edit a page. I don’t know if it is some type of setting I accidentally selected or what exactly is going on, but I have never had this problem before and it’s really sort of annoying. Any help?

Have you tried canceling the “Scheduled for? bottom line of the box just above the Schedule / Publish button.

I doubt you did anything. There is a glitch going around where timestamps get set later than they should be. I’d report it to staff via http://support.wordpress.com/contact

Yeah, I tried cancel multiple times- nothing.
It’s there now for some reason, though the time it said it was scheduled for was hours ago. I’ll definitely report, thanks for letting me know!
