Can't purchase WordPress Pro

  Hello,

  I can’t seem to purchase the WordPressPro…

  The screen is blocked since more than 10 minutes on a screen saying: “Processing…
  Almost there – we’re currently finalizing your order.”
  It seems it will be stuck forever. It is the second time that I am trying to pay for the Pro version, I don’t know what happen the first time if you can check please. Also when I am trying to add my credit card via my profile a bug appear.

  Maybe it’s all due to the fact that I am currently in Japan and trying to pay with my french credit card (I have tried with my Japan credit card but it was rejected because maybe you don’t accept SMBC card) and that I can’t receive SMS confirmation even if, as I:
  1/ activated my digital key I should not receive a SMS but should just need to enter my password of my bank app
  2/ also change my number to put my japanese number but it continue to send me SMS to my french number

  –> The problem seem to come from VISA not you.

  I would like to do some tests and enjoy the 14 days of free trial but my first experience using wordpress is disappointing so far because I simply can’t purchase.

  Hi there!

  Thanks for reaching out. Looking at the payment errors under your account, it does look like your use of a foreign credit card may be the issue here as they’re blocking the transactions likely for fraud prevention purposes.

  I’d recommend reaching out to your French credit card provider and letting them know that 1) you’re in Japan right now and 2) that this purchase is a valid transaction. You might have them clarify how you should use the SMS confirmation for this specific transaction as well.
