  How do I change the grey type on black background of the Dashboard pages to colors I can read more easily?

  Hi there,

  You can choose a new color scheme for your dashboard under Users > Personal Settings here:

  There are a variety of colors to choose from. :) We also have more details about those settings here: Personal Settings
